Re: MiniDisc Manager V0.96 (991210) available

Hi Will,

I'm an avid user of your MD Manager (sorry... don't know which version, but I downloaded it around August99)... and your recently-released V0.96 (991210), with the CDJ Playlist Recorder, is EXACTLY what I need to take the hassle out of making multi-CD mixes on MD.

Before I download it, though, I need to find out whether a present conflict I'm having will continue to be a problem with V0.96:

I can't seem to run both MD Manager and CDJ running at the same time. If I open MD Manager with CDJ already running, MD Manager crashes/never gets off the ground.** If I open MD Manager first, then launch CDJ, CDJ does not detect my CDPCX255 (CD changer) at all. [my MD Deck is the MDS-JB920 ] ** - The error messages I get when trying to go the first route look like:

"SLINKESERV performed an illegal operation....", details go something like this: "SLINKESERV executed an invalid instruction in module SLINKESERV.EXE at 015f:0040d06d. Registers:....." (you get the picture).

Though I use both programs a lot, I haven't really gotten adventurous and tinkered with any coding or whatever (due to lack of both time and, admittedly, expertise).

Are you familiar with this problem? Does V0.96 address this conflict?
