You could try playing with some of the IR parameters in SlinkeServ.

Try an IR sample period of 100us You can also try different frequencies for the transmitter. 36, 38 and 40 are common values for IR remotes.

Remeber that you have to hit a save button for new values to take effect, and save to EEPROM for them to be permenant.
