It cut my 900 CD (12,000 song) mdb file from almost 6 meg to just over 2meg..

I'm pretty sure you can invoke the Access compress functionality without the Access front end using a method that comes with the Jet engine...

(It might be nice to include an Access database repair functionality too...)
