Networking/dcom help Please

I have a network set up (useing win95 and win98) and i was tring to set the slink on two computers. well i ran the dcomcfg and it said i needed to change my network to USER level access control. So I did this and i put the name of my pc to get the list for access. All went well so far. I rebooted and went in to change the Sharing and to add names for access, but it always comes up and say cant access the the user file please try agin later. no matter when i try this i get the same thing. Also when i try to config decom and set the access there is say's "address dilog failed". does anyone know what is going on? did i miss something? Any help whould be great!
