The Slink-e does have that capability using DCOM. It works best under NT. The main hitch is that the applications running on different clients have to cooperate with each other. CDJ for instance can run on multiple workstations but if two of them are try to do anything at the same time they will fight for control of the changers. If you are writing your own software you can design for this.
