Give this a try with the remote: display enter dvd location #'s enter display display Assuming the player is on, that should allow you to directly access a disc location without having to go through the disc explorer's cumbersome interface. The only unknown is the beginning display mode... if it's not "off" then obviously this won't work, as the display button just rotates through the 4 modes (display menu 1, display menu 2, bit-rate info only, off). The first item in display menu 1 is the disc number... if you hit enter when this is selected, you can key in the disc number and hit enter again to change discs and play. It would be soooo nice if sony didn't shoot themselves in the foot by leaving out tried and true technologies when they come out with a new device.. :/ ---------- Probably can be done, but not simple. The interface Sony provides just is not set up for hands off automation. The bottom line is if you can do it with the remote with your eyes closed reliably, then you can do it.
