Yeah, ACTUALLY, I did do that, and I forgot about it, (now I have double and in some cases triple names of slots, some of which aren't used! ) (DOH!)

I just went ahead and re-inserted them. Damn the catalog! (and/or torpedos!)

I just wish it weren't such a hassle and that CDJ could remind me where the cds belong.

As for your idea, I like it! I think it's a great idea, being able to assign a cd to multiple groups! I'm working on a Slink-e driver program now from the ground up (a program that will tell the slinke and whatever is attatched to it, etc... what to do) to act as a player/juke box interface. I'm designing it initially for elegance and ease of use (in it's simplest mode, it has the 7 basic buttons, [play, stop, pause, ff, next, rew, back], and in it's most advanced mode, it can act as a jukebox interface, or as a home theater automation controller.

It should be done next summer (or, if I get real into it, this spring, but let me not jinx myself.)

Not that I don't LOVE CDJ! but I need something where if I want a function, there it is. And I want to be able to see EVERY song alphabetically too, not just in an album view!
