Reinstalling User Files

I'm having a great deal of difficulty reinstalling CDJ. I attempted to copy my previously saved Sherwood receiver device file, my extensively annotated library and the like, but CDJ doesn't recognize the devices or can it find my library. I used the product successfully for a number of months before this recent problem. What am I doing wrong?
