Both IDs are calculated using the same algorithm. The difference is that the CD-ROM drive gives complete frame-accurate TOC data whereas the Sony jukeboxes only give track times down to the second. This means the IDs are somewhat degenerate. If you have the complete TOC data, you should be able to generate a similar ID by using tracks with frames truncated to the second and the lead-in time calculated as (accurate total time in frames - sum(truncated tracks)).
