Thank you very much. That answers my questions. I am essentially doing that but I did not realize you could just send a command like >>|

But as you point out it won't work any way since I am doing playlists. I assume that if the playlist is all tracks as opposed to disks, the "playlist_next" and playlist_prev" will do what I want.
