Slink-e / CDJ Discussion Archive #5 Help?? CDJ Fails to open libraryPosted By: Thomas Kasner <tkasner1@s...> CDJ just randomly decided it doesn't like my library file yesterday... I've been happily using the database format since about a week or so after it became available, this is the first problem I've seen. I'd really prefer to not have to recreate the whole thing.. is there any way to save it? It initially fails with a dialogue box that says "Prov OpenRS error", when I click OK, another dialogue box pops up that says something about ADO not being installed (It's just hanging now so I can't get the exact text) Obviously, since I've been using the database format for a while now, I know I installed ADO.. :) I tried re-installing ADO, and cdj, but neither helped. The only thing I changed on my system recently was the Keyboard. I'd be suprised if that caused problems, but this is windows that I'm talking about. If it helps, I'm using Win98 Rev 1, PIII-450,256MB Ram, and there is no way I ran outta disk on the drive where the library is stored. There is a copy of my current library file at http://depeche.limax.com/cdj.mdb, if it would help to look at it. Any help would be greatly appriciated.. Responses To This Message
