Weird CDJ Problem

Has anyone else had some weird problems with CDJ in the past few releases?

My problem is this:

1. After CDJ is working for a hour or so, while the slinke screen saver is up, the Slinke serv window pops open a couple of times, then it disappears.

2. Soon after that, you will notice the Slinke Screen saver is no longer counting out the minutes, and the playlist is no longer working.

3. When you move the mouse to get out of the screen saver, CDJ is giving a "server busy" error message. You click "Retry", CDJ crashes, then once CDJ is closed, Slinkeserv crashes with a GPF.

4. If you try to open CDJ right away, Slinkeserv crashes right away.

5. On the second try CDJ will open, slinkeserv detects the slinke, however it does not detect my cd player.

6. On the third try CDJ at last will find the CD player and everything is fine for a few more hours.

Other times, slinkeserv just flat out crashes, throwing the GPF in top of the screen saver, usually when this happens the only way to get CDJ to work is to reboot the pc. However, other programs on the PC work fine, so I don't think its the PC causing problems.

Am I running into a problems with windows95 and should switch to 98? Is it hardware that is failing?

This slink-e is used in a college dorm, everyone in the hallway loves to come in and use CDJ, it is a major pain when it locks up and cannot detect the cd player.
