We could set up something to reread the DB via automation, but it would be as slow as the read at startup unless you wanted to specify just a specific record to re-read.

CDJ currently re-writes all fields in a disc when it saves that disc, not just those which have changed. It won't overwrite any extra fields you may have put in the DB though.
