IR Expansion 7-Port Adapter

I can not get the Slink-e to repeat IR when I have the IR receivers & IR transmitters connected through the IR Expansion 7-Port Adapter. If I unplug the Expansion Adapter and use the IR rx 0 port and the IRtx 0 port all repeates fine. Without changing anything except plugging in the expansion adapter repeating stops working. What am I missing ? Any ideas ? Thanks
