I think I know what this problem is. The Slinke install package is unsucessful in registering the the slinkx.ocx and slinkeprx.dll files in the SlinkX directory because Win98 doesn't seem to have \windows\system where regsvr32.exe resides in the path. I'll try to make a new release. Meanwhile, I would go to your
\Program Files\Nirvis\SlinkX
directory (or wherever you have installed the stuff)
and do the following from the DOS prompt:
\windows\system\regsvr32 slinkx.ocx
\windows\system\regsvr32 slinkeprx.dll
