IR repeater function quits

Ok...I have Colbys seperate reciever for the slinke outside the closet all this "stuff" is in....I am not using any of the codes that are possible apparently to load onto CDJ or the other aps that are incorporated within the slinke programs and have no interest in doing so.

As I said the Receiver/retransmitter portion of the slinke I like to use simply to repeat the IR commands within this closet to control my DAT, MC1, SONY changers etc....The issue is when I load CDJ in the computer and play a particular title via the computer/cdj interface the repeater function no longer works. This has nothing to do with the pronto ...the same thing happens using any IR device...the repeat function simply no longer works unless I reboot the computer and it "lets go" of the slinke.

Is that any clearer? I cannot add an internal board to this dell laptop which is used exclusively in the living room and prefer not to buy yet another device to repeat IR commands when Slinke is supposed to do that already. Thats why I purchased the expansion board and an additional transmitter and additional reciver, connecting to the slinke directly, that I could run externally. It seems to me it should not interrrupt that functionality or is that a system limitation again?
