Have you tried "x10:all_lights_on[a] or x10:on[a1]" instead of "X10:all_lights_on[a] or X10:on[a1]"? Colby mentioned that the device names are case sensitive in his "Re: X10 - oh no! - Colby Boles - 6/27/1999 8:44p.m." message a few days ago. I accidentaly stumbled on this myself, but I didn't realize what I did to make things work :)
