I have been running CDJ since about 3 releases ago minimized on my home theater PC under the control of my PC program. It runs days on end with no problem It is almost always asleep, waiting for requests via the automation interface to load a playlist and play CD's. I do not use the slinke for any purpose other than the auomation interface and the control of the megachanger. I use other subsystems for IR and X10 input and output. I have toyed with the idea of using the slinke for IR output, but have never gotten arouind to fixing something that isn't broke.
