Daisy-Chain issues solveable?

I have read through many previous messages regarding the daisy-chaining of 220/240 players. It seems that the master/slave configuration is incompatible with CDJ. My impression is that external commands are somehow interfering with master/slave operation. Can someone explain to me what the actual problem is? My guess is that the setting of the Mega Control on the 240 has something to do with it. Are some of the "Unknown" slink commands Mega Control related?

I am about to buy a second changer and would like a detailed explanation why I shouldn't bother with a 240.
