When you say response, do you mean a response in the sense of the automation interface responses (a string message sent back through the interface like playing[ "album","artist","title","totmin:totsec","image file" ] is sent when the notify_playing_item option is set to ON), or do you mean response in the sense that you want CDJ to always *do* something in response to a sleep command, regardless of whether it's already asleep or not? If it's the first, perhaps your request could be satisfied with a query_state command that prompts responses state_asleep or state_awake. This works for writing external programs that deal with CDJ, but doesn't solve my original problem with event maps in CDJ, since there's no way to do conditional logic in them based on the response. If you mean the latter (e.g. you want to always gaurantee CDJ is asleep after a sleep command is sent, regardless of whether it is asleep to start with or not), why do you need an action performed (e.g. shutdown / pre-startup / startup) even if CDJ is already asleep, and this action has already been performed?
