The new features for querying the playlist items are great. I had hoped that some automation features would have been added to allow querying of the library as well. For integration into home automation systems, it would be very useful to be able to query and display items from the library.

For now, a kludge may be to query the entire library to a playlist, then iterate through the playlist to return the needed info. Another option may be that I need to write an application that queries the MDB file to return disk info. I just hate to do that when CDJ's automation features could be capable of this.

What do you think of functions for querying the library?
