I think you hit the nail on the head, so to speak.. I got tired of trying to get the cx525 to work right, so I exchanged that for a CX-220, and sold my old CX200 to a friend that just picked up a Slink-e and bought a second CX-220... It seems that the CX-220 has some anti-skipping code built in to it.. it "invalidated" the discs that were skipping which, of course, caused CDJ to believe they were no longer in the player.

Sorry for pointing a finger at CDJ... that's what I get for assuming a CD player wouldn't be smart enough deal with disks that skip.

In light of this, it would be nice if CDJ showed the last known location for disks that "dissappear"... it would both deal with this problem, and let me know where I should return a CD to later if I take it out of the player and put it in my car..

On a different note, I now have my two CX-220's connected to a shiny new Str-925 receiver with a 2 way remote... it's very cool to be able to see what disc is playing through the remote, and even better that I didn't have to key in the disc memo's by hand! I was suprised that the remote happily accepted memos for BOTH changers. Between s-link and Slink-e, it's hard to imagine a better interface to 400 CD's.. :)

Thanks much
