Automation Problem

I am trying to use CDJ automation and I am having a problem. I created a map file, using the example file included with CDJ, and edited only the "vcr:play" lines to reflect "CD:play" to match the device file I loaded. And I did remove the comment marks(#).

When I press the play button on the CD remote, the slink trace window recognizes the event (cdir01 play), but the corosponding CDJ automation "cdj:playlist_play" does not happen. As a check, I pressed the mute button and the trace did show CDJ using the devices and map I have installed (AMP:mute).

To make sure I did not miss a step, I have tried changing the name I assigned to the cd remote device file and editing the map file to match, then reloaded the whole thing. I also have restarted CDJ, and finally rebooted the PC. Still no effect.
