Problems sending IR to Kenwood 1090VR

I'm having problems sending commands to my Kenwood 1090VR receiver
via CDJ. I've created a device file with E-Z learn and it works great
when testing from E-Z learn. It also worked fine in CDJ until the
addition of map files which I created as per the help file. Now it only
works intermittently. I am only trying to switch inputs on the reciever
but it doesn't do it all the time.

Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Also, the volume up/down and mute work fine in CDJ.
