Actually, i was recently reading the CD-R faq, and it mentioned some software/hardware combinations that will let you record cd-text.

as soon as i pick up another changer, i want to put both of them in the closet so i don't have to listen to the spinning of their cartidges anymore. cd-text in that respect is useless. _but_ how hard would it be to make a small circuit attached to an lcd attached to the parrallel port output of the slink-e to let us display whatever text we want? if cost isn't too big (< $60 bucks for me), then i wouldn't mind tring it out.
