Finally got it to work. The CM11a was on com6 which was actually a inside out edgeport 4 usb to serial expansion module. I switched it to com1 it works. When I first received the Slink-e, I tried to run it off the edgeport 4 with only moderate success. I've been hearing there are some problems with the USB devices.
