I have had that problem in the last version prior to the latest release today. I thought I screwed up something but every so often a track is completely skipped in the playlist. I also have that problem where you hear a bit of the next track before the player starts moving to the next disc/track. Small things in the big scheme of things I guess. I've only had the product for a day and I can't say how incredible the product is; it offers complete felxibility and expandibility. Truly amazing.
