We often time go ahead and name the CD (although usually not the tracks) so that we can use the library until we get it over to the networked computer. This causes 2 problems. First CDJ decides that something needs to be looked up based on the title being ***Queued... So when we rename the CD, it won't even try unless we specifically ask for that one. This is a real problem if we have a whole bunch as you have to do a "Lookup Selected" on each one. I realize however that I have not tried this since you were able to do multiple selections. That part of the problem may be fixed now.
---
It is fixed, since you can now do multiple selection
---
Secondly, however, if the CDDB lookup fails it renames the disk to ***Unknown, even though we have already given it a name. The net effect of these two things is that we end up having to do a lot of button pressing and retyping, exactly what the CDDB lookup is supposed to prevent in the first place!
---
This is changed too. If a disc is named *** Queued and it fails to lookup, it will get named *** Unknown. Otherwise it will just keep its old name.
