Hi Jim - on my unit, the jamming got much worse after creating a library, but I think this is a Sony mechanical problem and that it would have eventually gotten worse - I feel that having CDJ give the machine a bit of a workout made it more apparent and allows me to get it fixed while still under warantee so I see it as a benefit.

Btw, after using CDJ/Slink-e I can't imagine using a mega changer without it - IMHO, the changer is a handy place to store a lot of disks but difficult to program and makes it difficult to find the selections I want -- bottom line is I think Colby has an outstanding product that adds a great deal of utility to these machines.
