It might. I haven't built the DSP module yet. That will come later. Quality mixing will require sample rate conversion because the 2 incoming data streams will be asynchronous.

2. Can one input be sent to multiple output ports simultaneously?

Yes. It's a true crosspoint switch.

3. Any plans to make a deluxe, rack-mountable 1U modular slink-e controller as well (with modules for 4x S-Link, 4x Xanatec-compatible IR In+Out, 4x Control-S In+Out, RF In+Out, and 2x PHAST), preferably USB enabled?

Nope. This would exceed what the current controller is capable of. I'd have to switch to a new type of CPU and start over.
