How to send IR bit commands?

The lowlevel:slb command only allows sending bits to the SLink 0 to 3 ports. The lowlevel:ir[num, num] command only allows you to send microsecond on/off pulses.
How do you send bit commands to the IR ports? How do you convert between the pulse commands and the bit commands? When I use EZ Learn, it only generates files of the pulse command type. How do I generate files of the bit command type?
