RECOMMENEDED PLAYER FOR 1ST PURCHASE

Well, still no clear cut recommendations for which player to purchase, although recent traffic would make one think to steer clear of the 270.

Which player could this group recommend if: user will only be using one cd player, wants to purchase a less expensive model, and has other house hold users who will want to simply use cd player - not neccessarily the PC.
