Problem registering Slink-e OCX

I've installed a wide variety of Slinkx / CDJ versions, sometimes in different places, sometimes with varying levels of success. I found recently CDj stopped detecting my players on startup, and would only detect them after I started it, and then manually tried detecting them from the options menu (despite making sure the "automatically detect at startup" option was on).

I figured this could be due to so many reinstalls of Slinkx / CDJ (I was using CDJ through the Slinkx control), so I proceeded to uninstall, delete all Slink-e associated files, then reinstall. Unfortunately, the reinstall fails trying to register the OCX.
