Re: sony products - 270/220 master/slave questions

I'll second the request;

Specifically, what capabilities are available using a 270/220 master/slave setup, both with & without the Slink-e in use?

Does the 270 actually display the disc/artist/track data from a 220 in slave mode?

Can the Slink-e actually load track info to a 220, even though the 220 does not appear to be capable of this out-of-the-box?

It appears from what I've read so far that the soon-to-be supplanted older laptop is about to find a new home in the A/V rack. *I'LL* have fun with it, but my technophobe wife will still want to spin the dial(s) to pick thru her CDs without the (shudder the) thought of dealing with a PC.

The 270 is in place; The Slink-e is on its way; What capabilities and limitations can I expect from the acquisition of a 220/240/260, both with and without the use of the Slink-e? Track data display is a nice perk, but I'm hesitant to think about a popping for a second 270 just to get it.
