I agree. The only reason it is this way is that CDJ does not currently support multiple playlists. Once it does, I will impliment the standard MDI options and everything will make sense. >> 1). You need a New button, this should bring up a blank playlist with no filename attached. 2). The Save icon should initiate the Save As command if the playlist has no filename, otherwise the existing filename should be default in Dialog box.
#2 used to be exactly the way you describe, but people complained when they found themselves accidentally overwriting thier playlists at the push of a button. That's why I reverted to "Save As" Colby
