I guess I didn't describe what I'm trying to do clearly enough. I don't want the multiplexer/switcher to be "controllable". (ie, no Slink or RS232 on it) I just want it to direct whatever digital input happens to be active straight to the output.

There wouldn't be more than 1 active input at a time. Damn, unless a device spits out a stream of 0's. Hmmm... I know some do. I guess that makes it tougher to detect which input to choose...
