I would also be interested in your digital input switcher. Would it be possible to also have a switched digital output, either optical or coaxial? It would seem logical to have this feature on your proposed advanced version with SCMS copy bit stripping. The digital output could be connected directly to a minidisc recorder. The Sony MDS-JB920 has three digital inputs, two optical and one coaxial. These inputs are controlled by a four position toggle switch on the front of the unit (the other position is for analog input). Judging from previous postings on this website, Slink-e probably can't override the toggle switch input selector.
