I have lots of experience (some good some bad) with X10, but almost all of it through the TW523. Where can I get info on the CM11? I have never heard of it.

A good source on X10 details is the owner of the Worthington distribution group. They are on the web.

I would be more than willing to assist you in what you are trying to do. Yes, it would be very nice if the Slink handled all you are trying to make it handle (would deifinately broaden your market).

I also would prefer the X10 device be separate and distinct on its own seral port, but running through the slink server.

i have not yet used the slink for IR but will try that soon. I still have not been able to effectively interface the slink to the Xantech three wire IR bus. I am not sure just what the signal lokks like on the xantecj bus, but will try to put a scope (with an isolating plug) on it soon.
