This is because the CX220 actually reports back a text string which says it's a CX240. Don't ask me why. Sometimes CDJ doesn't get this text string back from the player if it is doing too many operations on the player at startup. In this case it uses a player id byte which is less descriptive (hence the CX220/CX240).
