S-link 1 - 3 ports are not working !?!

I'm adding a third CD jukebox and am looking to split up my master/slave configuration which is connected to the S-link 0 port so that each CD player will be on it's own port. I can't get ports 1 - 3 to work. In trying the simple test of connecting one of the CD players to each port and powering on/off, the only port that shows an active yellow flash from the indicator is the s-link 0 port. Any ideas on how to fix this? Are ports 1-3 defective and I'm just now finding that out? I'm hoping to get all of this stuff working before my DXS unit arrives in a couple of days.
