Pace Digital Cable Box (UK)

I am having problems with IR signals to a Telewest Digital Cable Box, from information I have found on remotecentral.com I beleive that it is because the Pace box uses the 115Hz IRDA Standard. Has anyone had any experience (success) with this standard? Colby - is there any chance of getting this to work with the slinke?
