The way to control the changers when the PC is off is with the remote control :)

If you want to control a player. Use the Player menu items or add these same items as toolbar using View | Toolbar. They will affect whichever player you have selected in the players window, or to simplify things when you are playing a playlist, it affects the currently playing player.
