I have an M555ES. The main advantages are the 5 year ES warranty, and better DAC's. If you plan on daisy chaining your changers or using an anlog mixer to combine the outputs, you must use an analog connection to your receiver. The better DAC's in the ES changers will be a benefit in this case. Of course, there are other ways to add changers. If you have two free digital inputs on your receiver, you can connect the changers to separate inputs, use the Slik-e to change receiver inputs, and then use the DAC's in your receiver. You can get much better pricing on the 555ES. I got mine from www.oade.com, and it was less than $500 shipped to me. Oade Bros. is an authorized ES dealer, and I was very pleaed with the way they handled my order. Sony currently has a promotion that will give you a free keyboard when you buy the M333ES or M555ES changers. Good Luck, Kit San Diego, CA
