DVD 860/870 workarounds.

Okay, I've run out of disk space in my two CD changers and was really hoping the 860/870 DVD players would have Control A1. Looks like that's not the case.

I'm still thinking of getting one.

If I understand it, the following limitations would apply:

1. The CDDB type functionality would cease to exist. (i.e no two way communication)

As a result all titles would have to be typed in, etc..

2. No sensing changing of disk locations as they are moved around.

Again a lack of two way communications issue.

3. No auto switching inputs.

But this could be resolved with a DXS.

Here's the stuf I am unsure of.

1. Can it be used with CDJ at all.

How does CDJ know to have an entry in the DB. Is there any way this can be done in access, or similar to the way it handles MP3's?

2. The flip disk function.

How would this be controlled?

I assume I would have to build a map file of some sorts. I did a search through the BBS, and am unsure if anyone has had success with the 850.

Anyway, a lot of questions. Any help would be appreciated.
