I think several folks have mentioned that they're just tying inputs together with isolation resistors. You have to boost the volume a bit to compensate, but it's the cheapest solution.

Others are using the IR controls to switch the amp between alternating inputs when the player changes.

I've got a 48-track mixer, so it's simply not an issue.
