ReplayTV again

I am installing a new ReplayTV recorder and wanted to use power on and power off codes instead of the toggle power that comes on the remote. I found the power on/off codes at http://www.remotecentral.com. However I cannot get the slinke to reliably send any of the ReplayTV codes, from the remote via EZ-Learn or from remotecentral. I increased the sampling time to 55us and changed the carrier to 36360 but the reliability doesn't improve. I noticed a similar problem report on this BBS about the ReplayTV last year.

Is the ReplayTV remote too fast for slinke to repliably transmit and receive? It sure looks like it.
