CDJID and mp3 albums

Can anyone shed any light on how the cdjid's are generated for mp3 albums (and cd albums for that matter)? I'm in the idea stage of writing a script/app that will recurse a directory structure and create mp3 albums for cdj, and I'm stumped on how to generate valid cdjid's.

I'm planning on using a directory tree structure as referenced a couple of times in previous posts about this subject.

Root Dir

---Artist_AlbumTitle (directory)

---------##_songtitle.mp3 (file)

where ## is track #.

I plan on parsing the directory name for artist/title information, recursing the directory for # of tracks and song titles....I might append track length in the song name, even though cdj seems to play the album/songs fine even if this information is not present (ie -1).
