I have transported my players numerous times. The key to success is to make sure that the player has no disc loaded in the transport as this is the one which drops most easily. The way to do this is to make the player unload to move to another disc and then shut the power off before it loads another one. The easy way to do this is just to open the front door, let it unload, and then turn the power off, then close the door.

Regarding the IR uploading of the CX250, I'm trying to figure out the most practical way to do it since you indicate that it only allows you to enter the memo for the currently playing disc. This basically prevents you from uploading all of the memos unless you are willing to wait for it to load each disc. Maybe the best solution is just to have it upload the text passively whenever a disc gets loaded. Any other ideas?
