E-Z learn and TV remote

I run on windows 98 and get the following when trying to start TV remote
OLEAUT32.DLL is out of date. The version I have is newer than the the one on the download page. Just for kicks I downloaded it and put it in the system directory, but still the same message.

As for E-Z learn. This messages comes when I try to start:
