It happens even when I play discs manually. I suspect it's a "feature"

I was hoping there would be a way for CDJ/slink-e to overcome the problem.

What's weird is it is possible to enter a CD memo via the IR remote
when the CD is playing. During this time of course the CD memo
is visible. During this time the time code is still in being sent (I just
checked).

So our current workaround to find out what CD is playing is to hit the
memo input button on the CD remote.
